What is the Safeguarding Compliance Survey?

The main focus of the Safeguarding Compliance Survey is to help strengthen and support grassroots cricket making children and young people safer. Completing the survey is a short and easy process and Clubs will likely have most of the information already. The survey looks at all areas of Safeguarding in the Club ensuring compliance across the board and highlighting any actions that may be required. It is mandatory for all Cricket Clubs to complete this survey in line with Safeguarding Legislation from Sport Ireland, Sport NI and the NSPCC. All sports in Ireland must complete this survey

Workshops

Cricket Ireland will hold a number of club workshops to discuss what the Safeguarding Compliance Survey entails, how it will work and what supports are available. We recommend that one of the following people attend one of the workshops: Club Chairperson; Club Children’s Officer or; Designated Liaison Person. Dates, times and registration links for the workshops are below. Additional workshops will be accommodated if required.
